Medical Nutrition Therapy*

Diabetes, Type 1, Type 2 or Prenatal

Hyperlipidemia – high cholesterol and high triglycerides

Inflammatory Bowel disease including Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis
Celiac Disease
Fatty Liver

* MNT or medical nutrition therapy is provided to individuals who have a medical diagnosis that is recognized by the International Statistical Classification of Diseases.

** Nutrition counseling is for those food and nutrition concerns in life that do not meet the criteria for a diagnosis and are often those things you choose to do to improve health and prevent getting a diagnosis.

Nutrition Consultation (without seeing an MD)
Initial consult – $97.00
Follow-up consults – $84.00

Consults with our nutritionist are not filed with your insurance provider as they are considered self-pay.

We do, however, file insurance for those patients seen by Katie for the diagnosis of Diabetes Mellitus type 2 that have Medicare as the primary insurance and a referral from the Care Provider managing your Diabetes.

The work you do with Katie can also be paid for using your Health Savings Account or Medical Spending Account funds.
